Aerial hoops, also known as aerial rings or lyras, are a classic aerial circus performance props. These one (1) point hoops come in a variety of sizes.
X-POLE Aerial Hoops are 34 mm in width which makes them a little different from other traditional aerial hoops (which are 24mm width). With the explosion of pole fitness studios now teaching aerial hoop, it makes the transition from a pole to a hoop easier. T
One point hoops will rotate slightly even when rigged without a swivel, if you don't want your hoop to rotate at all, we suggest one of our two point aerial hoops.
Sizing: If you are unsure which size you need, a basic measurement is to sit on a chair and measure from the seat to the top of your head, then add 10cm (eg: chair to top of the head is 80cm, then you likely need a 90cm aerial hoop).
If you're getting an aerial hoop for a studio or for shared use, a 95cm ring would often be the most suitable as it’s the most popular size and is midway through the range.
We recommend that youtape your hoops for both hygiene issues and safety issues.
